T.B. Fruit has commissioned its own manufacturing line at its Horodok plant, setting the first pectin manufacture line in Eastern Europe
The pectin line will have an annual manufacturing capacity of approximately 1,500 tonnes. This compares to a global consumption of around 40,000 tonnes of pectin.
“We can increase the manufacturing capacity to 3,000 tonnes in case of need. Furthermore, T.B. Fruit aims to join the International Pectin Producers Association (IPPA). IPPA data indicate that global pectin consumption is up 5% annually,” the Company representative emphasized.
