• T.B. Fruit was named ‘Best Exporting Company in Moldova 2017’
Secretary General of the Government of Moldova Iulia Iabanji handed the award to the Director of the Moldovan plant at the Moldova Business Week 2017 international forum

The Moldovan Government commended the Company’s contribution to the export development and delivery of high-quality products to the EU markets. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman was also present at the Forum. The Prime Minister of Ukraine and his Moldovan counterpart were briefed on the T.B. Fruit’s business and development plans for Moldova.

For T.B. Fruit, this is  not the first award. The Company was honoured as Moldova’s Investor of the Year in 2015, and in 2016, T.B. Fruit won the Moldova Eco-Energetică-2016 national competition as the best energy-efficient enterprise. In 2017, T.B.  Fruit was awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Moldova for employment creation.

Background

T.B. Fruit is one of the European largest manufacturers of apple concentrate. Every 10th bottle of juice in the world is made from fruits and vegetables processed by the T.B. Fruit’s plants. Due to the high product quality, T.B. Fruit’s concentrated juices are used as ingredients of juice products in more than 40 countries.

The T.B. Fruit’s plant is one of the Company’s seven plants, operating in Moldova since 2015 in Edineț. The volume of investments is EUR 15.5 million. A total of 150 jobs were created. The plant has the capacity to process 1800 tonnes of apples per day into apple concentrate.
