Description of the product:

Strawberry juice concentrate clear is produced solely from sound and ripe named fruit (Fragaria x ananassa Dutch H.) by mechanical processes and is treated only by physical means, according to Current Good Manufacturing Practices using enzymes, clarifying agents, filter aids suitable for food production.  Product is made without addition of sugars, sweeteners, extracts, acids, flavourings, preservatives and other additives. GMO-derived products as well as genetic engineering, nanotechnology and their products are not used in production. Product is preserved exclusively by physical means except using ionizing radiation treatment. Product is made in compliance with the TU U 15.3-32475074-007 “Fruit and Vegetable Juice Concentrates. Technical Requirements” and in conformance with the relevant Reference Guidelines of the A.I.J.N. Code of Practice and the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as described in the Codex Alimentarius/W.H.O.

Sensorial evaluations:

Appearance Clear viscous syrupy liquid, without admixtures and foreign inclusions
Colour Dark red with light brownish hue
Taste Typical for cherry juice, slightly changed within the thermal processing, without off-tastes
Flavour Neutral, with light cherry flavor, without off-flavour

The specification complies with the Ukrainian Medical and Biological Requirements and Sanitary Norms of Quality for Food Raw Materials and Food Products N 5061-89 of 01.08.89, State Sanitary Norms “Acceptable Levels of Radionuclides 137Cs and 90Sr in food and potable water”. Target levels for nitrates and toxic elements are in compliance with AIJN Code of Practice, and ones for pesticides are within the limits indicated in the relevant EC Directives.

Storage, transportation, labeling:

Product should be stored frozen in sealed drums with food grade polyethylene bag. Shelf life and storage temperature: 12 months at the temperature no higher than -18 ºC. Packed in drums product should be transported in refrigerator at the temperature no higher than -18 ˚C.

Labeling of packed product should be in compliance with the contract

Usage:

Only for industrial use in the food production.

The product is clear and stable and it does not need an additional filtration after reconstitution. Sediment precipitation of polyphenols is a natural process and can occur during storage.
